Aivo Labs ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Aivo Keyboard mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Authentication credentials

Voice and Audio Data

Aivo processes your voice input to convert speech to text. Voice audio is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers after transcription is complete. We do not retain recordings of your voice.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymized usage statistics such as:

• Number of words dictated (for plan limits)
• Language preferences
• App usage frequency
• Error and crash reports

Keyboard Data

As a keyboard extension, Aivo requires "Full Access" to function. This permission is used solely to send your voice input to our speech-to-text service for processing. We do not log, store, or transmit your keystrokes, passwords, or any text you type or dictate beyond what is necessary for real-time transcription.

Custom Dictionary

Words you add to your personal dictionary are stored locally on your device and synced to your account to provide a consistent experience across sessions.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the voice-to-text transcription service
• Process your subscription and manage your account
• Track usage against your plan limits (Basic: 1,000 words/week)
• Improve transcription accuracy and app performance
• Send important service updates

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Speech-to-text processing: Your voice audio is sent to our transcription service provider for real-time processing. Audio is not retained after transcription.
• Payment processing: Subscriptions are handled through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not collect or store your payment information.
• Authentication: We use secure authentication services to manage your account.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest.

Voice audio data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and is processed in real-time without persistent storage.

5. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
• Voice audio: Not retained. Processed in real-time and discarded.
• Usage statistics: Retained in anonymized form for up to 12 months.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.

8. Referral Program

If you participate in our referral program, we store your unique referral code and track the number of users who sign up using your code. We do not share your personal information with referred users or vice versa.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
