Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Aivo Keyboard. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Aivo Keyboard mobile application (the "App") operated by Aivo Labs ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Aivo Keyboard is a voice-to-text keyboard application designed for Nordic languages (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Icelandic) and English. The App allows you to:

• Dictate text using voice input
• Use AI-powered voice cleanup to improve transcription quality
• Access the keyboard in any app on your iOS device
• Maintain a custom dictionary of words

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

Free Plan (Aivo Basic)

The free plan includes 1,000 words per week, support for all 6 languages, basic voice cleanup, and custom dictionary functionality.

Paid Plan (Aivo Pro)

Aivo Pro is available as a monthly subscription and includes unlimited words per week, custom voice modes, and early access to new features. Subscription details:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple's In-App Purchase system
• A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings

Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

6. Keyboard Permissions

The App requires "Full Access" permission to function as a keyboard. This permission is necessary solely to transmit your voice input to our servers for transcription. We do not:

• Log or store your keystrokes
• Access your passwords or sensitive data
• Transmit any data beyond what is required for voice transcription

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by Aivo Labs and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Use our trademarks or branding without permission
• Create derivative works based on the App

8. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create using the App. However, by using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your voice input for the purpose of providing transcription services. We do not claim ownership of your transcribed text.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Transcriptions will be 100% accurate
• The App will meet your specific requirements

Voice recognition technology has inherent limitations, and transcription accuracy may vary based on audio quality, background noise, accent, and other factors.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aivo Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aivo Labs, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App will immediately cease
• You may request deletion of your account data
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Denmark.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Aivo Labs regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
